Here at Barker & Sheldon we have many years experience in electrical testing from Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing), through mains supply and accessories, to power sockets and light fittings.

For commercial properties it is absolutely vital to have periodic regular inspections to test your electrical system falls within the National Safety Standards, which should, ideally, be carried out no longer than every five years.

It is impossible for any electrical installation to last forever; age will cause deterioration as well as typical wear and tear due to use. Because of this, the Electricity at Work Regulations call for regular periodic inspections and testing to be carried out to ensure that the installation is maintained in a right and proper, safe condition.

As we are NICEIC Approved, and ECA Approved contractors, we are lawfully allowed to perform all testing of electrical wiring, at intervals of not more than five years, or other periods as recommended.

On completion of every scheduled inspection and test, after corrective work has taken place, we will then issue a suitable safety certificate.
